GENERAL
ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT
The General Administration Department was created in the year 1956.
It was part of the Home Department and the G.O's from 1956-1959 were shifted to State
Archives from A. P. Secretariat without indices. Typed annual indices for 1956
were prepared by
this office. The records pertain to information on Accommodation, All India Services,
Indian Police Services, Andhra Pradesh Regional
Committee, Andhra Pradesh Riding Club, Business Rules, Census, Ceremonial Functions,
Economic Committee, Elections, Electoral Rolls, Law and Order, Publicity and Public
Administration, Service Associations etc. and Zonal Councils.
