4. COMMERCE AND INDUSTRIES SECRETARIAT

The Commerce and Industries  Secretariat was created under the control of a Director, with two assistants to provide him help. The  Director had extensive training in Europe in paper, oil, soaps and alcohol Industries  also.  From 1918 the creation of this new department was the result  of acceptance of the proposals was sanctioned by the Government. The records  consist of Urdu and English languages including Farmans also. The records of Commerce and Industries Secretariat  were shifted to Archives in 1968.
