12. PANCHAYAT RAJ DEPARTMENT

           The Panchayat Raj Department was established in the year 1960 after formation of Andhra Pradesh State. The G.O’s of 1960 contains  47 bundles and supplies the information on development of Gram Panchayat, Acquisitions of Lands, Levy of Taxes on Houses, Digging of Bore-Wells, construction of Service Reservoirs, Tanks, Development of  Villages by Laying Roads etc.
