6. FOOD AND AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT

The Food and Agriculture Department was formed in 1946. The records of this department consist of  G.O’s and printed indices, covering the period from 1946-1952.   Acquisition of suitable buildings and space in various districts for storage of Food Grains and budget discussions regarding procurement and distribution of  Food Grains, setting up of Agricultural colleges, Licenses to Rice Millers, etc.
