3. HOME DEPARTMENT

          The Records of the Home Department cover the period from 1916 to 1957. They deal with the appointments of Judicial Officers, District Munsiffs, Sub- Judges, Judicial Magistrates, Cinematography, Village Panchayats, Supervision of Immoral Traffic, Renewal and Cancellation of Licenses, Maintenance of Law and Order, Motor Vehicles, Public and Private Sale of Petroleum Products, Courts, Jails. Passports etc.
